Message From the Secretary
————————–
Maheshpur Welfare Society
I am happy to take over the charge as Secretary. I am aware of the responsibility that this casts upon me. I am taking this responsibility with the resolve to complete the unfinished agenda and take new initiatives for the benefit of the rural people. At present men are much captious with their interest. So they are unwilling to do anything without their interest. But NGOs come forward to the upliftment of the rural people who live at present with their interest. They are reluctant to dwell below the poverty line. In this respect, the need for the voluntary organization can hardly be denied as a social being society seeks some sort of self-less tasks from individuals so that society can be developed.
The ardent youths of the organization stretch their hands for the betterment of the village rural people including women & children are hereby seeking all-out co-operation from the local as well as far and wide people and organizations to fulfill their missionary task.
MAHESHPUR WELFARE SOCIETY (MWS) is trying heart and soul to bring about socioeconomic, health, hygienic, and educational change. We have a strong belief that the disadvantaged weaker sections of the communities leading the most miserable activities are very much essential to improve the wretched quality of life. We are really lucky and grateful to the Panchayat functionary, Block official, District administration, and State authority for their best co-operation.
Thanks to our members, staff volunteers for their heartiest cooperation for the achievement of the activities in the last 20 years. The organization has got 20 years of experience in NGO activities for the benefit of poverty-stricken beneficiaries under our area operation. All this work would not have been possible without the support of our different donors, in particular, the support from the West Bengal Swarojgar Corporation Ltd., Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development, National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development, District SHG & SE Department, and Other funding agencies. In all its achievements the organization expresses its most sincere thanks to all those who supported its mission.
Milestones for 20 years will include the strengthening of the follow-up activities and the development of the project on the individual complaints procedure.
Lastly, I convey my heartiest thanks and regards to the members, communities youth, staff, local government authority, and also to all those associated with us in our noble dead.
